Leitner’s traditional markets are the Alps, Southern Europe and Scandinavia, although it also has great market potential in other continents. The company has a great deal of experience in International Exhibitions – such as Expo Seville ‘92, Expo Hanover 2000 and Expo Daejeon 1993 (South Korea) – where it provided visitors with transport solutions boasting spectacular bird’s eye views.
Pininfarina Design
The Aramón Leitner Cable Car used the ‘Diamont’ cabin model (designed by Pininfarina for Leitner) as it adapts to the specific needs of the Expo and offers passengers great safety and comfort.
Each cabin has a riveted aluminium frame, equipped with a shock-absorbing system giving passengers a smooth ride. The windows are manufactured using organic material and are double glazed. Finally, the door opening/closing mechanism, installed in a compact, removable control box, brings all the door closing and locking functions together.
The cabins are designed to give operators full and immediate access to the control areas.
